Patricia Weeks, Principal Weeks Consulting, LLC

Pat Weeks is currently Principal of Weeks Consulting, LLC.  She is the former Vice President for Planning and Business Development of the Fox Chase Cancer Center (retired January 1, 2008) with responsibilities for strategic planning, technology transfer, legal affairs and policy development.  In that capacity, Mrs. Weeks was responsible for the negotiation of all commercial agreements of the Fox Chase Cancer Center as well as the management of the Center’s technology portfolio.

Mrs. Weeks is currently Chair Emeritus of the Board of BioStrategy Partners, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the development of startup bioscience companies.  Ms. Weeks is Past President of the Association of University Technology Managers (AUTM) and has served as President-Elect, President and Past President, VP for Professional Development as well as the VP of the Eastern Region of that organization.  She has served on numerous planning committees and task forces in her tenure as a member of AUTM. She is a former Chair of the Philadelphia chapter of LES.  She is also a member of the PA Biotech Association.  She participates in numerous efforts to market the region’s strength in high technology.  She has been an invited speaker and facilitator at many national and international conferences, symposia and workshops on the subject of the transfer of academic technology to the commercial sector and strategic planning for nonprofit organizations.

Mrs. Weeks received her B.A. degree with honors from SUNY and her M.S. in Organizational Development from the University of Pennsylvania. 

Mrs. Weeks has served on the Board of United Way of Burlington County and chaired their Fund Distribution Executive Committee.  Mrs. Weeks has been a Board Member of the American Red Cross, Southeastern Chapter and Chair of the Board of the Northeast Philadelphia Chapter,  as well as serving on the Board of Crossroads where she chaired its Planning and Finance Committees.
